SUCCESS STORY - KAI

Kai came to us as a very scared and timid cat who basically lived in a cupboard in his previous owner's care. He was almost a year old and was with his previous owner approximately 6 months. He is an Oriental cat and was bought from a reputable breeder. He was according to the breeder a timid cat right from the start and the breeder advised the previous owner that he will always be like that and it could be genetic. While this may be true to some degree it is not entirely the case. Therefore the previous owner lived under the pretence that he may or may not change.
Upon arrival he was very tense, scared and timid and was always hiding at every opportunity. He did not seek out human contact at all. After some time and socialisation with other cats he started to slowly but surely come out of his shell and was actively seeking attention from the other cats and then he slowly started to come and seek out human attention.
Kai is now a more self-confident cat and he actively seeks out attention from both the other cats and humans. He is a playful, social and very affectionate cat who was placed in the too hard basket by the breeder and this incorrect information was then passed onto his previous owner who did not know how to react to his behaviour. The video attached is Kai when he first arrived - very stressed, nervous and anxious and he hid at any opportunity. PŘÍBĚH ÚSPĚCHU - KAI
Kai k nám přišel jako velmi vystrašený a plachý kocour, který u předchozího majitele žil v podstatě ve skříni. Byl mu téměř rok a u předchozího majitele byl přibližně 6 měsíců. Je to orientální kočka a byl zakoupen od renomovaného chovatele. Podle chovatele byl od začátku plachý a předchozímu majiteli poradila, že takový bude vždycky a že to může být genetické. I když to může být do jisté míry pravda, není to tak úplně pravda. Proto předchozí se majitelka žila v domnění, že se může, ale nemusí změnit.
Po příjezdu byl velmi napjatý, vystrašený a bázlivý a při každé příležitosti se neustále schovával. Kontakt s člověkem vůbec nevyhledával. Po nějaké době a socializaci s ostatními kočkami začal pomalu, ale jistě vylézat ze své ulity a aktivně vyhledával pozornost ostatních koček a pak pomalu začal přicházet a vyhledávat lidskou pozornost.
Nyní je Kai sebevědomější kočka a aktivně vyhledává pozornost ostatních koček i lidí. Je to hravý, společenský a velmi mazlivý kocour, kterého chovatelka zařadila do příliš náročného kategorie a tuto nesprávnou informaci pak předala jeho předchozímu majitelce který nevěděla, jak na jeho chování reagovat. Na přiloženém videu je Kai, když přišel poprvé - byl velmi vystresovaný, nervózní a úzkostný a při každé příležitosti se schovával. Příběh úspěchu - Segy (Shaggy)
Segy se ke mně dostala přes inzerát na Facebooku z útulku, který upozorňoval, že ji majitelé chtějí utratit kvůli její agresivitě. Poradila jsem jim, že to nepřipadá v úvahu a že se jí ráda ujmu. Majitelé mi ji predali osobně se všema jejími věcma a o Segy mi řekli malo informací, a když jsem se na něco zeptala, velmi váhali s odpovědí. To ve mně vyvolalo dojem, že v tomto vztahu jsou nějaké nesrovnalosti. Od 6 měsíců věku začala Segy napadat právě majitelku v jejím domě. Byly to kruté útoky. Napadala pouze tuto jedinou osobu v domácnosti, ale když to udělala, byla zbita koštětem nebo zkopána, protože majitelé nevěděli, jak útoky zastavit. Fyzická agrese vůči kočce není nikdy řešením.

Když k nám přijela, byla ve stavu neustálého stresu a ve střehu. Vůbec se nestýkala s lidmi ani s jinými kočkami a celé dny prospala v koupelně. Ze začátku jsem byla dokonce nervózní, když jsem se jí snažila dotknout nebo jí vyměnit vodu atd. kvůli její agresi (viz fotografie). Vzalo to hodně práce a různých metod práce se Segy, než se dostala tam, kde je dnes - šťastná kočka, která už nežije ve strachu a stresu. Je společenská jak s lidmi, tak s ostatními kočkami a ráda se přijde pomazlit. Na fotografiích uvidíte její kruté útoky na členy mé rodiny, její život v koupelně až po kočku, kterou se stala dnes. SUCCESS STORY - Segy (Shaggy)

Segy came to me via a Facebook ad from a shelter reaching out that her owners want to put her down due to her aggression. I advised them that this is not an option and that I will gladly take her. The owners bought her to me personally with all of her things and only told me some information about Segy and when I asked questions they were very hesitant in answering. This caused me to think there were some red flags in this relationship. From the age of 6 months Segy started to attack just the female owner in her home. These were vicious attacks. She only attacked this one person in the home but when she did she was beaten with a broom or kicked as the owners did not know how to deal with these attacks. Physical aggression toward a cat is never the answer.

When she arrived with us she was in a state of constant stress and on the alert. She was not social at all with humans or other cats and slept her days away in the bathroom. I was even nervous at times trying to touch her or change her water etc. in the beginning due to her aggression (see photos). It took a lot of work and various methods working with Segy to get her to where she is today - a happy cat that no longer lives in fear or stress. She is social both with humans and other cats and loves to come for a cuddle. From the photos you will see her vicious attacks upon members of my family, her living in the bathroom to the cat she has become today. Jmenuji se paní Bobby Pacewicz a jsem milovnice koček a zastánkyně tohoto úžasného a jedinečného druhu. Nyní nabízím služby v českém i anglickém jazyce pro kočky a jejich majitele, ve kterých poskytuji pomoc v oblasti zdraví a wellness, naturopatii a pomoc při negativních projevech chování nebo poradenství a vedení v otázkách týkajících se vašich milovaných kočičích přátel.
S kočkami se pohybuji celý svůj život a dobrovolně zachraňuji kočky, které měly problémové chování, měly být utraceny nebo jsem je zachránila z útulků či ulice. Během svého života jsem pomohla více než 600 kočkám a stále v tom budu pokračovat.

Toto je jen krátké představení nových služeb, které budu nabízet, a těším se na setkání s vámi všemi a vašimi chlupatými kamarády!!!!

My name is Ms. Bobby Pacewicz and I am a cat lover and advocate for this wonderful and unique species. I am now bringing together a service both in English and Czech for cats and their owners in which I provide assistance with their health and wellbeing, naturopathy and help with negative behaviours or provide advice and guidance on any questions you may have about your beloved feline friends.
I have been around cats my entire life and have voluntarily been saving cats that have been problematic in their behaviour, were to be put down or I saved them from shelters or the streets. I have helped over 600+ cats over my lifetime and will continue to do so.

This is just a brief intro to the new services I will be offering and I look forward to meeting you all and your furry companions!!!!
