The T5001 upgrade set for the Arleigh Burke-class Destroyer (Flight III) includes 3D-printed parts, photo-etched details, turned metal components, and masking stickers, significantly enhancing the realism of the base S3001 kit. Trial molds for most required parts have now been completed.
The 3D-printed parts (marked in black) include secondary armaments, fire-control radars, lifeboats, and other components where injection molding cannot achieve optimal detail. The photo-etched parts feature intricate elements such as railings and outer bulkhead details that are unattainable with traditional plastic molding.
Parts marked in gold are turned metal components, including radomes, main gun barrels, and antennas.
