Here we go again with another heartbreaker.
This very old man was found in the middle of the road just outside of Wampum Lake in Thornton.
We forgot to say thank you.
Thank you to the man who stopped and shared the meatloaf dinner he had with him.
Thank you to woman who stopped and provided a bowl and water.
Most of all, thank you to the gentleman who stayed with Gramps until we arrived. The man who literally cried for a dog he just met while we lifted him onto the truck.
There is compassion left in this world.
