Everyone told me: “Pack waterproofs. You’ll need them.”
So I did.

Did I use them? Not once.

Two days on the Isle of Arran with nothing but blue skies, sunshine, and sneakers — not exactly the Scottish cliché, but I’ll take it.

We drove around the island, stopping whenever something caught our eye. Moules with a view, quiet Standing Stones, seals just doing their thing.

And of course — a visit to the distillery. Because you can’t come here and not.

No big agenda, no rushing — just perfect weather and an island that makes it very easy to slow down.
