Taking photos is one of my favorite parts of my job. HOWEVER... I much prefer photographing inanimate objects to photographing people. HOWEVER... I love photographing people when they aren't paying attention and getting those great candid shots.
I think being able to take photos and videos for clients really sets me apart in the world of social media management.
So if you've thought about hiring me before and you weren't quite sure about it... remember that you get the best of both worlds when you hire me!

***disclaimer... I wrote this on a day when I was feeling EXTREMELY tired, so if it doesn't make sense just ignore and move along to my next post***

I don't know why they gotta mess with a good thing.... ok that's a lie. I know exactly why they gotta do it. DOESN'T MEAN I GOTTA LIKE IT!
Maybe it'll grow on me ;)

AND HERE IT IS!!!
It’s only taken me about a year to get this done. But better late than never, right??

I never REALLY loved my business name. It was just something I came up with really quickly when I started taking on clients. It felt ok at the time, but I never felt like I was a REAL business. Now just a short five years later ;)… I’ve got a name I love. A brand I love. And new services COMING SOON!

This color scheme/retro feel I have going on my grid.. I KNOW it's not for everyone... but I LOVE IT!
So who gives a flying F what anyone else thinks?!
Welllll... I do have to care to a degree what others think, because I still want them to check me out, right?!
It's a balancing act for sure... but I believe that if I keep doing what I love, I will attract my audience... the people I WANT to work with.

ALL of this to say, that maybe you should do more of what you love too!
Love creating reels? Do it.
Love sharing static photos? Do it.
Love sharing your everyday life? Do it.

The right people will find you. The right people will follow you.

Soooo, they’re really gonna try this rectangle Instagram feed… and I am on the fence.
What’s wrong with the squares?? It’s just so much more pleasing to my symmetrical brain!
Although I will have to think a little less about HOW a photo is going to look cropped down to a square.

You can now add 20 photos to a carousel... why does this matter? Well, it doesn't really. It's just kind of exciting and freeing knowing you aren't stuck at only ten... keep people on your feed just a little longer!
NEXT: Plays are now relabeled as views in your insights. Basically this allows you to know who's viewing your content whether it's a reel or a static post.
NEXT: I HATE that the sun is already going down earlier and earlier. It's sad and depressing. UGH.
NEXT: I STILL haven't changed my business name. WHY does this take me so damn long to do?! I have the name... but it means I have to add another ten things to my to do list.. including update my website.
