AN ADDITION to HUNTERS PRIDE.

Recent orders from Barrie Gun Club presented a challenge. Their crest was too intricate to be manually tooled into leather to fit the required size for the project.

I reached out to another customer, friend and fellow hunter, Kyle Baker of Krafty Designs in SMITHS FALLS.

His laser work onto my leather was a complete success.
I looked at other sketches and subjects that I hand tooled for "thumb port" slings and wondered how a laser would look.

Lastly, I ordered a prototype hunter orange cap, with the HP logo. I wear one in good weather and this one's waterproof.

I am requesting your feedback on these and look forward to hearing from you. Hand tooling will still be a foundation stone for HP, this is designed for those perhaps wanting more detail on their kit.

KNIVES..knives.
I was asked by a knife maker friend of mine to do some leather work for him. Great guy, does good work under the logo of BLACK MAPLE BLADES.

I have an affinity for good knives. I trapped and guided. Without a good knife, it would have been difficult. However, I am mystified!

It's designed and rigged with a shoulder holster.

UNIQUE....you bet!

HP has made many different plaques for customers. This one in particular is certainly unique. A repeat customer in BAKER LAKE, requested a MUSKOX!

I have also learned many interesting facts from providing these plaques and researching their destinations:
- Baker Lake is pretty well in the east- west centre of Canada
- it is the only INUIT community not on a salt water coast.
