We’ve listened to all your feedback and made some changes this year! Part of the journey of launching a business is problem solving and if nothings going wrong then you’re probably not moving fast enough. Someone told me that before I started (and as a self proclaimed perfectionist, I had to listen because as I learned the hard way- perfection hinders progress in this startup space).
Part of the journey is also listening to your customers feedback and as a community driven brand, I feel like we did that and will continue to do that.
1. Our Makdous is now in olive oil! No more seed oils. This was a popular ask.
2. We switched our olive oil bottle caps to aluminum and it’s been a great change. We had a ton of issues with last years cap suppliers.
3. Transparency is KING. In this industry, in the F&B space, but even in importing from countries like Lebanon. We focus on building solid partners at every end of the supply chain. More importantly, letting you know exactly where everything is coming from, the test/lab results, technical qualities. We included all the details on our olive oil label this year by popular demand.
4. “Bring us olives!!” - done and dusted, we brought the best handmade, all natural Lebanese green olives
those are just a few but from fulfillment, retail, markets, taste, quality we are constantly listening I promise and as a small business that wants to scale and grow, your feedback is the *most* important to us. Know that we are trying to build an ethical and social enterprise and while things might go wrong, we are trying our best to bring you quality, transparency, and a story to support our land and the people who care for it. 🫒
