Janean Brühn, Superkül’s Interior Design Lead, explains the logic behind the lobby design at The Fairbank, a recently completed purpose-built rental project on Toronto’s Eglinton Avenue West: “The lobby was very much conceived as a place where people would want to spend time. With a hospitality bar and assortment of furnishings — there’s soft seating, counter seating, and a communal table — the lobby does triple duty: it’s a lounge, an entertainment area, and a coworking space. We wanted it to be a true gathering place and genuine extension of tenants’ units.”
