got in touch with me last year to collaborate, and I offered to send him a blank deck to paint on. Very cool guy who was interested in doing an original piece with his playful and unique style. I asked him to ship the completed version back to me so I could promote it at a couple of in-person events last year, write up a blog entry and offer it up for sale as a decorative wall piece on artondeck.com.

Artist Statement: "This design, as most of my other pieces, came straight from my imagination. This one in particular was created while catching a train home one day. I wanted to incorporate some basic shapes, fun patterns and vibrant colors, while adding a few eyeballs and human-like features into the mix as well. I think a good skateboard graphic should catch the viewer's eye, and I hope this does just that. "
