2/3 New Coffees has arrived, and this one is special!

We pride ourselves on traceability and believe there is much more to coffee than taste. Where our coffee comes from, the families who grow it, and the sustainability are essential.

More about our Santa Maria:
Looking to support women in coffee? Mildred Muñoz has dedicated Santa María, a 75-acre family farm, to be run entirely by women. The group of 22 women control everything from leadership decisions through quality control. The project is new, but the women have support from Mildred and her husband Oscar Daza who have another farm nearby called La Pradera. The alliance gives the women at Santa Maria access to award winning processing protocols developed at La Pradera. The cherries for this particular lot were meticulously selected and fermented in an anaerobic and aerobic environment before being placed on raised beds for drying benefits.

1/3 New Coffees that just dropped

As much as we love beautiful coffee, we care equally (if not more) about where/who it comes from.

Working with a new (to us) origin, Papua New Guinea!

Papua New Guinea Nebilyer Valley Peaberry is sourced from family- owned farms located in the Nebilyer Valley within Tambul-Nebilyer District, Papua New Guinea. Each producer cultivates coffee on 1 to 2 hectares of land. The coffee is fully washed, and sun dried at the Kuta mill, which has been in operation for over 40 years. The Kuta mill operates between the Ulga and Kolga tribes and has become a place of common ground for producers who have traditionally been in conflict because of tribal differences.

Region: Papua New Guinea
Roast Level: Medium
Varietal: Bourbon, Typica

Notes: lemon, kiwi, basil, toasted almond, juicy

Thank you to all of our patient customers, suppliers and friends for being so patient with us!

Happy brewing,

I had the honour of meeting the one and only Carlos, of

Carlos, your dedication to quality coffee is unsurpassed.

You (and your sister) have been an integral part of our business from day one. You understood the importance of supporting female coffee producers, and female roasters.

I am thankful for our coffee chats and words of coffee wisdom that you continuously pass on.

Thank you!

All good things must come to an end.. stay tuned for new coffee coming soon👀

Our Highly anticipated Organic Yirgacheffe Light Roast is now available.

This coffee not only tastes beautiful, what is most important is the producer. Bedhatu Jibicho is a world renowned coffee producer, strong female, and single mother to 6 children.

I’ll be sharing more of story on Friday.

Looking to support women in coffee? For the past three years, Programa Mujer Cafetera Asociación De Productores Agrícolas De Timaná (ASPROTIMANA) has been working directly with women producers to establish coffee production from farms owned and managed by women. With the support of Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA), 53 women have emerged with the skills to process specialty coffee using their own micro-mills. Cultivating coffee on just a few acres of land intercropped with shade trees, bananas, corn, and beans lends to careful post-harvest practices

including hand sorting cherries before depulping, fermenting, washing, and drying the coffee using their own micro-mills. After processing, ASPROTIMANA works with an export company called San Miguel, a family-owned company based in Huila that focuses on bringing traceable micro-lots to the international market. The partnership ensures traceability and quality control throughout the post-harvest process and a mutual goal to improve the quality of life for coffee producers and their families through internationally marketing women's coffee to gain improved premiums. wider market, and vice versa.
