It has come to our attention that false rumors have emerged regarding our businesses association in a recent cyber crime investigation conducted by the Thunder Bay Police.

First and foremost, we want to express our condolences to the victims of the crimes investigated and thank the Thunder Bay Police for making arrests against those responsible.

We would like to take the opportunity to confirm that Marnics Mobile is in no way shape or form tied to this investigation. Nobody on the list of those arrested have any affiliation to or have worked in our organization. It has further been stated by the Police in today's media statement that “no local cellphone repair shops have been tied to the investigation.“

At Marnics Mobile, we began our journey 10 years ago as a trusted name in Thunder Bay. Today we have grown to 6 locations in Northwestern Ontario and into a world renowned data recovery service. We know how important data privacy is and have our systems & policies in place to protect your data. This is why clients from not just Thunder Bay, but all over the globe, trust Marnics Mobile with their data.

My brother and I are hurt to say the least that our name was wrongly associated with this but trust that our continued commitment to Marnics Mobile will speak for itself and we want to thank everyone that has supported us since we started this incredible journey.
