Just what you needed to add the perfect finishing touch to your bag! 😉🎶

These metal “Handmade” bag tags feature a raised 3D design in Mister Cortez’s custom font, the exact same font used on our PVC and woven labels, as well as our black “Handmade” webbing. As I have said before, so you all know, I love the matchy matchy coordination. It continues to make my soul sew happy! 😂🥰

They’re available in SEVEN finishes: Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Gunmetal, Antique Brass, Matte Black and Rainbow, so you can coordinate them with your favourite bag hardware.

It’s all in the little details 🖤

Our black “Handmade” seatbelt webbing has the word handmade woven right into it using the exact same Mister Cortez font as all of our woven, PVC and metal labels. Because you know I love when everything coordinates! 😍

The subtle black on black design adds a special touch without overpowering the rest of your bag, and it’s available in both 1” and 1.5” widths for handles, straps and more.

If you saw my Taylor Beach Bag in my previous post, this is the webbing I used for the bag straps! I used the 1” width, and I love how it looks against the colourful Electric Splatter Vinyl 🖤🌈

Would you go fully matchy matchy and pair it with one of our “Handmade” labels too? Because I definitely would 😂

Beach bag, pool bag, overnight bag… this one is ready for all the adventures! 🏖️

I made this Taylor Beach Bag 🥰 It’s a pattern by Tara of Tara C Sinclair, and I used my Electric Splatter Vinyl for the exterior. The inside is lined with black Smooth CorTex™ so it can be easily wiped clean, with a fun Electric Splatter Smooth CorTex™ pocket for an extra pop of colour.

I also added a key clip lanyard using my Electric Splatter Webbing and a rainbow bag clasp, because digging around the bottom of a big bag for your keys is never fun 😂

I love how roomy this pattern is! It will be replacing the IKEA reusable bag I currently use as an overnight bag 😂 I know, shame on me! Haha

This is my Dreamy Ombré Splatter print, and the soft blend of colours mixed with those messy splatters just makes my heart so happy! 🩷🩵💛💜

Our Smooth CorTex™ is easy to sew and adds beautiful structure to bags without needing any interfacing. You can even iron it! It beads water and wipes clean, making it a great option for makeup bags, toiletry bags, diaper bags, lunch kits and so much more. Use it for both exteriors and linings!

Now the important question… what hardware colour would you pair with it? I lean toward matte black or rainbow. What about you?

Amanda used the Mighty Heartbreaker Tote Pattern by Kim Azcona | K.Azcona Designs and brought it to life using my Mister Cortez Checkered Vinyl for the exterior and Checkered Canvas for the lining. I love how she carried the checkers right through to the inside, then added that perfect pop of pink 💖

When your niece makes a special birthday request, how could you possibly say no?! 🥰

I made a whole bunch of these simple little pouches to use as goodie bags for her birthday party last year, and I love how they turned out! I used my Ombré Splatter Canvas and matching webbing for the outside, then lined them with Ombré Smooth CorTex™ so they can be easily wiped clean. Because we all know kids and goodie bags can get a little messy 😂

Such a fun and practical alternative to traditional goodie bags, and hopefully something the kids can continue using long after the treats are gone! 💕🎉

Look who is finally posting one of her own makes! 😂

This is the Johnnie B Travel Bag by Cherelle Le'ron Patterns , and I had so much fun making it. I finished this bag quite a while ago, back when the pattern was first released, but apparently I am much better at making bags than I am at posting them. 😂
Thanks to some gentle encouragement from my friend Katie at Katie Tedeschini , I am finally going to try to share more of my own creations!

For the exterior, I paired my Mister Cortez Checkered Vinyl with black vinyl, then carried the checkerboard theme inside with my Checkered Smooth CorTex lining. I finished it with my 1.5” “Handmade” webbing for the shoulder strap with my Matte Black Hardware 🥰

I absolutely love the handle design on this pattern. I have even used a similar concept to change out the handles on a few other bags I have made since.

This was also my very first attempt at piping, and I am pretty darn happy with how it turned out! The YouTube video instructions from Cherelle Le'ron Patterns were awesome and made the entire process so easy to follow.

Hopefully this is the first of many long-overdue makes finally making their Instagram debut! 🖤🤍
