8 months ago, I walked into the gym… and I was intimidated 😅
I started simple, then eventually picked up the weights. And just 3 weeks ago, I finally started using the machines.
But here’s what really surprised me 👇
Pilates changed working out at the gym for me entirely.
Understanding the body,
the mechanics; knowing why a movement works and what muscle I’m actually targeting. All of which, Pilates has been teaching me for years.
The gym is fun, powerful, and I’m really enjoying it, but Pilates fills in the missing pieces.
And they absolutely make sense when used together.

Glutes and Quad on 🔥… but this is so much more than that.
The Exo Chair is all about core, strength, control, and balance. Just like the Reformer, it uses springs—but the smaller surface makes it way more challenging. It’s also unstable, so if you don’t control the springs… they’ll throw you off balance in a second and you might just fly off the chair 😅
Exercises like this require strength, stability, body awareness, and a strong mind-body connection.
