I’m drooling as I’m looking at this Highland Lux by HiKoo 😍 It’s a worsted weight, 90% Andean Highland Wool, 10% Kid Mohair blend, with 273yds on each ball!

I’m thinking stranded colourwork, wonderfully warm sweaters…perfect for the upcoming season.

Has anyone worked with this before? What do you think?

Hey everyone! Long post, please read….

So if you saw my last reel, you’ll know that Bonnie from Madison Ave Fashions will be in the shop next week.

I’m going for an operation, and will be taking the week of Aug 11-15 to recuperate. I’ll be back the week of the 18th, but likely still won’t be too quick on my feet lol.

Now, I know this is a lot to ask, but my Yarnie friends, it would be amazing if some of you could come in over those two weeks to sit on the couches, knit or crochet, and help out!

Bonnie is not a Yarnie 🤣 If customers come in with questions, she might not be able to fully answer them. I’ve made up a “volunteer” sheet - basically just looking for people to hang out and stitch, watch movies, and help Bonnie if there are any questions that she can’t field.

The second sheet is for when I’m back. Honestly I should be able to manage most things, but I won’t be able to lift anything and can’t be on my feet for extended periods. I also won’t be able to put out my sidewalk signs when I open, or take them in when I close. I think those times (open/close) will be my most challenging.

Anyway, if anyone is around and able to pitch in, that would be seriously amazingly ❤️ Just comment below the times you can hang out. Thank you!!!
