I am located on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, at the north end of Highway 101 in Powell River on the Sunshine Coast. To get anywhere from here I need to take a ferry either to Vancouver Island or to the Lower Mainland of Vancouver. Although being quite secluded, it is a little piece of heaven – the ocean on one side and the mountains and forest on the other. If you are local to Powell River, you are welcome to arrange pick up your item to avoid the shipping cost. Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you will find something you love. There will be live music, food, train rides, lots of vendors and good times to be had, join us from 12:30-2:30!

We greatly appreciated the support and wonderful turnout during the last outage. Thank you for your patience with the food vendors whom you kept very busy!

We thank you in advance for parking responsibly; keeping driveways, roads and accesses clear for emergency vehicles and local residents.

Good morning Quesnel!

The Farmers' Market is on today until 1 pm. There's lots to see including fresh produce, baked goods, photography, handcrafted items, a distillery and ready to eat food. The sun is starting to peek out so it's a great time to visit.

Check out these sweet new fabrics I just received - they are soooo beautiful!
These were ordered from Funky Monkey Fabrics Inc. in Ontario (one of my favourite fabric stores) and they are destined to become bowl covers and cosmetic pouches once they hit my sewing machine.
These fabrics are from the Another Dimension collection by Studio E Fabrics.
Off to my sewing machine I go 🥰❤️

I have restocked some of my zipper pouches and will be taking them to the Spring Market at Springtime Garden Centre this Easter Weekend. Please join us on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids at noon, as well as a Children's Creation Station. You'll find lots of local makers showcasing their products too.
