🔴 A true piece of working history just landed at Redman’s Antique Barn! 🔴
Meet this late 1800s C.S. Bell Co. cast iron grist mill (Grinding Mill #2) — a beautifully preserved example of American ingenuity from over a century ago. C.S. Bell Company, out of Hillsboro, Ohio, was famous for these heavy-duty mills used on farms and in general stores across North America.
Turn the wooden hand crank and that big red flywheel spins to life, powering the grinding mechanism inside. Originally used for grain, these mills were also a go-to for grinding coffee beans and cocoa. ☕
Bold red paint, solid cast iron construction, and serious mechanical charm — this one is ready to be a conversation piece in a farmhouse kitchen, rustic entryway, or industrial-style display. Whether you get it grinding again or just let it sit and look incredible, it’s a piece with real history behind it.
