At the beginning of June removed trashcans from at least 2 main blocks of George St. and some downtown side streets. City services had no answers, nor did the . In September we were told by the DBIA that "somebody" with the city said they were being replaced...soon. After 6 months of waiting and cleaning up litter, we have purchased a can for public use. Not only to assist with a clean downtown, but to hopefully push the City of Peterborough and the DBIA to address and rectify this downtown issue.

Sidewalks are always taken care of at Pipe Dreamz! Besides just being the right thing to do, clean sidewalks encourage walking around, are safer, and keep the inside of your business cleaner. I will never understand not clearing in front of your business! Maybe the DBIA needs to do a contest for clear sidewalks in front of businesses to encourage others to get on it?!
