The Coombs Post Office has now relocated one kilometre West along the Alberni Highway, at the PetroCan Station. The Coombs General Store is no longer open at the 2268 Alberni Highway building in Coombs, as the building has been sold. Thank you for the one hundred and nine years of community support at this location. It has been my sincere pleasure to have been able to experience the last eleven years as proprietor, and to have shared my days with the wonderful staff, numerous friends and neighbours, and many many visitors. Thank you.

The historic Coombs Post Office has moved...

The location of the new Canada Post outlet is one kilometre East of French Creek, at the new Petro Canada gas station, on the way to the junction.

The (est. 1911) remains open in the old Coombs townsite area, 100m East of the Old Country Market ( ) by the Railway Trail terminus, at the corner of Ford Road and the Alberni Highway, near the entrance to the . Okay, it is winter and I am both tired and distracted, so please excuse the sketchy hours on the weekend. You may wish to call first in the morning. Most of you get it, so thank you - I appreciate the understanding and patience. Wintertime decisions are are significantly more affected by economics and exhaustion. As we have a post office, we can't close to save money and rest like the Old Country Market does, so gotta take the time to stay healthy when the weather and opportunity strike. Island time. Cheers.
