I turned around for five minutes and somehow the Dragon Hatchery emptied itself onto my worktable.

Now I have a dozen tiny supervisors watching my every move, judging my paint choices, and demanding snacks. 😆

I suppose it's a small price to pay for spending the day surrounded by baby dragons.

🐉💎 Sometimes a message arrives that completely makes my day... 💎🐉

Recently, I received this message from a parent whose son adopted a dragon at a spring event:

"My son adopted one of your dragons and has been glued to his dragon since. He's always making sure that the dragon and his gem are together at all times!"

I may have gotten a little emotional reading that. 💚

When I created the Dragon Hatchery, I hoped children would use their imaginations, create stories, and form special connections with their dragons.

To hear that a little guardian is making sure his dragon and its gem are never separated is exactly the kind of magic I hoped these tiny companions would bring.

✨ It's never just a dragon.
✨ It's never just a gem.

It's an adventure, a friendship, and a story that continues long after the event is over.

Thank you to everyone who has adopted a dragon, built a habitat, guarded a treasure hoard, or shared their stories with me. Every message reminds me why I love creating these magical companions.
