Today is Sunday December the 1st, it is the month that Christians the world over celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior , Jesus the Christ.

This Christmas season the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wants us all to ‘Light the World’ one by one. Just as our Savior, Jesus, did ,we can touch the hearts and spirits of those around us.

Sometimes it’s easy to lose the true meaning of Christmas in the excitement over twinkling lights and holiday dinners. But Christmas is all about honoring Jesus Christ. Use this calendar whenever you need to remember the true reason for celebrating. If you miss a day, don’t worry! Serve when and who you can. And remember that you can all year round—every day is an opportunity to be a little more like Jesus
