It’s a bittersweet day at Enlightened Herb as we say goodbye to our historic church location in Diamond Valley. Thank you for almost six years of connecting, creating community, countless learning curves and so many magical, transformative memories.
Looking at the sticker collage on the side of our cabinet we realize just how many beautiful craft companies have gone out of business and no longer exist in the short time since legalization. So many people got into this business with high hopes (pun intended!) only to face insurmountable challenges as the industry unfolded and continues to develop. Our hearts go out to all of you who had a passion for the plant and took the leap into the industry. This industry is not for the feint of heart- we are pioneers and that is something to be proud of!
Thank you for your support of our little independent small business just trying to do something beautiful in our little corner of the world. As we say in the store, it’s great we’ve freed the plant, but now we’ve corporatized it, which is almost worse. It is primarily the independent growers and stores who are in it for the love, for community and for wellness over money.
Thank you to all who have come by to wish us well in the next leg of our adventure. As sad as we are to be leaving this amazing space, we are also getting excited to be ramping things up in our new Nanton historic building! We’ll announce our Grand Opening soon! And we will continue to serve our Enlightened Supporters in Diamond Valley who want to stick with us and the craft growers we support by offering FREE DELIVERY once a week.
