Good afternoon,
We just want to post a quick little update as to what's happening with the store.
After factoring in staffing issues, tariffs, logistics, product availability, management mistakes, and just the overall sales and financial picture past present, and future, we have made the decision not to pursue a reopening. We will be permanently closed in Moose Jaw. Let's just say it was difficult getting product into the store, plus expenses faaar outweighed the sales revenue. It simply wasn't profitable.
If market conditions improve, the tariffs either drop or go away, and operating costs go down, then we would gladly reopen in MJ. There is definitely potential for a store to succeed out there! Likewise, we would also hook up retailers with wholesale opportunities if anyone is interested in operating their own store sometime or has an existing store.
Our Regina location, which is independent from this store, is open and ready to serve you. For those on our points program, you can use your points and gain points at the Regina location. Every month, we will also be offering delivery to Moose Jaw! Stay tuned for updates.
Although it was a short stint, no one at the time that we signed a deal to open the store ever predicted to tariffs and the effect that it would have on the economy. No one predicted a buy Canadian movement that would essentially kill our store the point that we couldn't recover. No one predicted a tomato, sucralose, and aluminum shortage that would affect the availability of a lot of our product. Let's just say, the reason for this closure was a series of unfortunate events. But, sometimes it's for to better and there's always opportunity for the future.
So to our friends in MJ, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to operate and to serve you. Although it was short, it was a wild and fun ride! We hope that you continue to support us at our partner store in Regina, and we want to let you know that someday, will be back! Thanks again
