Over the last 5 months I have been thinking about what I can do to help our lakes and oceans and the fish that are trying to survive among all the plastic that they are living with. I looked at the big laundry containers that we lug out of the shops each week or two. Many plastic containers are not recycled and can’t be. So I decided to make my own laundry detergent. It is in power form, cleans just as well as any other store bought detergents, you still need the spot remover for the stubborn staines. My laundry detergent comes in a mason jar, each jar has 30 loads. Selling for $8.00. I call my laundry detergent Hetty Crumpling’s laundry detergent (Hetty was my 4th great grandmother ) laundry was a big job back in her day. Ever wonder where your empty laundry containers ends
Up. Some people reuse the containers for other uses which
Is an Excellent idea but most of us put them in the recycle
Bin. Apparently not all plastic containers can be recycled.
Thus finding many that have made their way into the
Lakes and oceans. In order to make a small difference with
the mounds of plastic floating in our Oceans and landfills
around the world. I have made an Eco-friendly, Ocean Friendly, free from plastics and chemicals laundry detergent.
