Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."

ISNA Canada is faced with making an extremely critical decision in these dire times. The safety of our community is of utmost importance and we are making decisions guided by the best advice of our Islamic scholars as well as the medical experts in the field of infectious diseases.

Based on the most recent information available to us we are making the difficult decision to suspend all congregational prayers at our centres, commencing tomorrow morning, until further notice.

We encourage all our community members to follow the guidelines of public health officials and the scholarly opinions to remain at home in order to limit the spread of the highly contagious Coronavirus
