In a wee little basement in the home of Christina Marcano. Christina started in the clothing business over ten years ago when she co-founded an active wear company called Skyler Clothing. Skyler grew quickly and by 2008 they had three stores over two-hundred wholesale accounts and regular appearances on the Shopping Channel and then…the recession hit. The company started to spiral out of control a

nd as a last ditch effort Christina went to pitch her case on CBC’s the Dragons Den. The response was phenomenal. She received an outpouring of support but after a bit of soul searching she realized Skyler wasn’t her true dream. She closed Skyler down and headed back to her basement where she got to work building her true dream - Silver Icing. An amazing brand that offers comfy chic clothing that won’t break the bank. In 2013 Silver Icing launched and is now a thriving online shop with a network of independent stylists. As a young mom, Christina knew how important a work life balance is. She was tired of driving 2 hours a day back and forth from work. She loved being able to make her kids lunch or take them to a park on a sunny afternoon. Being a stay at home working mom was exactly what her family needed and it is from this experience that she committed to building a company that other moms and women could be a part of. Her greater vision is to provide women with the option to balance life and work by having the opportunity to work from home during hours that don’t disrupt the family lifestyle. Becoming an Online Stylist does just that. It is the best of both worlds, everything is online so you can commit as much or as little as you like. You can work when the kids go to bed or nap during the day. Everything can be done online, including pop up shops, so there is no need to sacrifice evenings or weekends to host parties. Kim's Review: Oh Long Shots!!!! How I love them! These are serious wardrobe essentials. Whether you're looking for more of a compression style tank, wearing it on its own or layering it, this is the tank for you. For a more compression style that you would wear underneath something, stick to your true size. If you want a less tight, looser fit, you can size up. These tanks are great for all year round wear, which is probably one of the reasons they're our #1 item! These colours are seriously amazing too. Which one do I buy?!?!?! In the first photo, I'm wearing it pulled down and flat, making it pretty long. In the second photo, I've cinched it up a bit and am wearing it under the Tennessee Denim Jacket. One of the great things about these tops is that they can be worn at different lengths and they stay in place very well, with out stretching out. All aboard the spring colour Long Shot train!!! I'm wearing the size small here and they fit perfectly!

Alessa's Review: One of my favourite prints on the fleeced lined leggings. I love the green and the subtle camo print, so many colours you could pair with it! These are so perfect for this winter weather. They fit like all our other fleeced-lined leggings, I would get an XS which is my true size in our fleece lined leggings.

Kim's Review: There's one word that came to mind as soon as I put this shirt on. SOLD! This top is so versatile and the denim has a really soft feel to it! I love that it's a snap closure because sometimes buttons are annoying... I love that it can be worn undone but still look good done up too! I'm in the size XS here and preferred this fit on me. This is definitely going to be one of my new go-to's!!

Kristina's Review: Denim is calling my name…I have always wanted to pull off this retro look and now I finally can. The length of the Everyday Denim Top fits me in all the right places. I am wearing the size XL which is what I typically wear. I can button it up as well (all but the bottom snap due to my hips), but I prefer the unbuttoned look. The Backcountry Plaid Hat really gets me into the holiday spirit. I mean who doesn’t love this Canadian Spirit Outfit Eh?

Kim's Review: This midi dress is going to be a great Summer dress! The slits up the side make it extra flowy and as everyone knows, I love the drawstring at the waist! I'm wearing a small and I find it fits TTS. The jean jacket is amazing! As you can see in the photo, the sleeves are a tad long but nothing over the top. I have shorter arms anyways. This fits very similar to the California Girl Denim Jacket. Nice stretch and length! I'm wearing a 36 in the denim jacket too and find this also fits TTS. The arrow necklace is a great accessory! It's the perfect length with a super cute arrow and triangle detail! Great addition to any outfit.

Just in time… these crops are the perfect print and colour for spring! They work with so many different coloured tops that you could pretty much pair them with anything! I’m wearing the sample small here in the 9.5” rise but I would definitely get my usual size of XXS in exclusives. I love that they come in both waistbands now, but prefer the shorter waist band for working out in.... or NOT! They are the same soft and comfy fabric as all of our exclusives and I'm really excited for this new fresh feminine print!
