With the closing of Humble Chocolates, we're now in the process of dismantling our production kitchen and have some unused packaging available.

If you're a local maker or food vendor looking to try some different kinds of packaging at a discounted price, we have a variety for sale. DM us in you are interested. You can see how we used everything in the photos we've previous posted.

Everything is recyclable, compostable, or biodegradable.

Our family would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to all our customers from the past 2 years. You've turned to Humble Chocolates to help you celebrate important milestones, share smiles with loved ones, and satisfy sweet cravings, and we are so honoured to have been included in those moments with you.

It was a very difficult decision, but with the rising costs of our raw materials and changes in our family life, we've decided to end this sweet chapter of our life. Humble Chocolates is no longer in operation.

It's been a really wonderful journey. We learned SO much about chocolatiering, food production, packaging, nutrition label laws, marketing, kitchen certification, and a whole host of other nifty things that we didn't know before. We proved to ourselves that we COULD do it, and demonstrated to our kids that it's OK to step out of your comfort zone to try something new. And it's also OK to know when to call it a day, with no regrets, and take your learnings to a new challenge.

We also learned that Miltonians have a desire for chocolate and caramels!!! Your feedback, your referrals, and your repeat business was much appreciated. That you nominated and voted for us numerous times for the Milton Champion awards, including best chocolate shop, best customer service, and best specialty food categories just blew us away!! But thinking about raising our prices to remain sustainable didn't sit well for us, as we had always wanted our products to be accessible and affordable.

To our dear friends who were our taste testers, our cheerleaders, our sounding boards, and our guiding lights, we're so glad you were on this ride with us. We couldn't have done it with out you.

So, quite humbly, thank you.

And sorry for breaking your diet.

Annnd, that's a wrap. Thank you to all our faithful customers who chose Humble Chocolates as the place to get their favourite chocolate and caramels. We are now closed for the hot weather season and we wish everyone a safe, restful, and sweet summer.

My goodness, chocolate sure can be melty this time of year! And it can be temperamental to work with when it's hot. So...we don't. We've got a good stock of goodies on our website right NOW but won't be making more chocolate until it cools down in a few months.

If you want it, you'd better grab it now. Bars, barks, clusters, and caramels make yummy gifts for Father's Day, Teacher Appreciation, and graduation gifts!

Now is the time to stock up on Humble Chocolates! We've just made a big batch of a BUNCH of caramels and chocolate goodies just in time for:

Graduation
End of School Year


Our website is updated with many kinds of chocolate snacking bars (including new varieties, like ruby, gold, spicy, crispy, and 75% dark chocolate). We've also added a few tropical-inspired mendiants and brought back our classic Almond-Cranberry Bark and Peanut Clusters. There's also a small run of Sea Salt enrobed caramels.

And don't worry, your favourite salted, cinnamon, spicy, and raspberry caramels are all back in stock, too!

We pause chocolate production during warm weather, so better get what you need before it's gone!
