We haven’t posted in a bit, but we’ve been busy in our spare time building guitars.

We fished a second Joe Strummer Tribute Tele (with Fender electronics and Genuine Fender Joe Strummer pickups—can’t say enough about those). Loved building one for a good friend and decided to build one for me 😉

We’re on the final adjusting, wiring and setting up stage, of our one piece, custom body, spalted maple (with expoxy fill touches) Strat build. Electronics (so far) are Fender Tex Mex & Fender Mex Start pickups…

Finally, we just refinished an Ibanez RG470MHZ solid-body guitar. There are still a few parts we need to source, and then, it will be time for final setup and wiring … it’s looking great so far!

We’re finally finishing this Tele build… but before we do (and advertise it for sale on marketplace), we figured we’d make it available to our followers first. We can customize it according to your preferences. The body is finished with a shinny rustic look and is made of light maple with a thin spalted maple veneer with a dark binding. It’s routed for a humbucker on the neck position. We can change/upgrade the hardware/electronics (at cost). Neck and standard electronics are from a Squier.

Our custom Tele with a Bigsby B50.

Just finished it… well, it still needs a little setup. The body was custom made inhouse to Fender specs in splated maple, with a top (and matched bottom) flamed maple and walnut strips. The neck is a smooth feeling roasted maple. Good quality control plate (full size pots, american style switch, cloth wiring/electronics and my favourite, a Bigsby 50 for Tele with roller individual 6 saddles. Love how it turned out.

Here’s our next build… a custom exotic wood Tele body built in house by our own Josiah Gonyou using spalted maple, curly maple, with inserts running the length of the body. More details to come. Thinking of using a roasted maple neck that Maches the body nicely and adding a Bigsby tremolo… and maybe a clear pickguard? I had some parts around, so couldn’t help doing a trial fit to see how it could look like.

The work has began… we ordered a brand new Telecaster and started relicing it to look like a Joe Strummer Tele. Here’s the progress so far… 1st pic is a side by side comparison (fine details still to be added).

We’re looking forward to building a Joe Strummer Tribute Telecaster for a good friend of ours. Started ordering all the parts and can’t wait to work on it… here’s the inspiration… follow this build we’ll post pics, videos, specs, etc.

🎸 Another Custom Build Complete!

It’s always a bit of a bittersweet moment when we finish customizing a guitar and get it ready to head to its new home. After putting in the time, care, and attention to bring out its best, it’s hard not to feel a little attached!

As with all our custom builds, I spent some time playing and fine-tuning it one last time before delivery. The new owner wanted a fuller tone, so we recommended and installed a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails Tele Set—and wow, does it deliver! 🔥 The result is a beautifully balanced Tele with incredible tone and feel.

Another one-of-a-kind instrument, ready to inspire its next chapter.
