They say true darkness isn’t empty; it’s full of things we just haven’t learned to see yet. Born from the collision of fire and ice, Obsidian is more than a storefront—it is an archive of the unknown. The concept began in the deep Canadian North, during the endless twilight of winter. It started

as a private collection: oddities found in abandoned homesteads, folklore whispered in boreal towns, and art that celebrated the shadows rather than fearing them. The founders realized that the "obscured"—the weird, the macabre, and the mysterious—wasn't something to hide. Named after the volcanic glass known for its razor-sharp edge and protective properties, Obsidian was established to cut through the mundane. We believe that what you wear and what you collect should reflect the complexity of your inner world. We are the bridge between the modern Canadian streets and the ancient, creeping folklore of the dark.
