Great local initiative from Cultivate Kingston 💜

Introducing Cultivate Collective. ✨

Cultivate Collective is a new local makers market, created to celebrate Kingston’s incredible artists and artisans. Hosted in partnership with Dows ClimateCare in their newly transformed showroom, the market will showcase handcrafted goods—candles, soaps, cookies, essential oils, and more, while ensuring all proceeds go directly to the talented local vendors.

This initiative comes full circle for Marci McMullen, Founder of Cultivate Kingston and former owner of Haven Home ClimateCare. Marci first joined her father at Haven in 2005 and, alongside her family, purchased the business in 2017. When the business was sold in 2021, Marci retained ownership of the Retail Centre showroom.

Now, with Dows ClimateCare moving in to operate their showroom for fireplaces and heating solutions, Marci saw an opportunity to reimagine a portion of the space as Cultivate Collective—a hub for local creativity, connection, and community.

Cultivate Collective is more than a market—it’s a celebration of legacy, local talent, and Kingston’s creative spirit. Keep an eye out to see which amazing local vendors and products are featured in our space.
