Brown Bear Wood Designs Creative designs using various wood species for home or garden. It is crazy how things change in the span of one's life.

In my earlier years, the thought of using power tools was foreign and somewhat terrifying. I would spend extra time using a screwdriver over a drill or a handsaw versus a table or mitre saw. It wasn't until our first home that I had to face those fears to complete home renovations and avoid extended periods of squalor. It started with flooring in one room and then the entire house and has now incl

uded a double pantry flanking our kitchen window, a bed for our daughter, a dining room table and more

During the pandemic I started taking on projects for others, making some planter boxes, house number signs and holiday decor. From the positive feedback that I received, I started thinking about turning my hobby into a business. I am a creative guy by nature through graphic design, hand drawing, event management and more. I am looking forward to applying my artistic expression to create pieces that my customers are proud to display. As for the company name, it reflects the nickname that was given to me years ago. It combines the translation of my last name with my "papa bear" qualities.
