It all started when I began working for our loca
l Pet Crematorium. How could anyone work at a pet crematorium?! Well, I tell you, it certainly wasn't something I was actively seeking, but the opportunity arose, and I decided to give it a try. As a SERIOUS animal lover, my family strongly suggested it probably wouldn't be the role for me and urged me to reconsider. Evidently, I did not listen to reason, and went forward. Truly, the job was life changing for so many reasons. I love my job. I have a responsibility to be the keeper to all these cherished pets on their final journey in this physical world, and its a duty I take very seriously. The level of empathy, compassion and and love that must be given to the pets and their families has really brought me so much purpose. It's not an easy job. I cry very often alongside clients, however its in those moments I feel deeply connected to my fellow human, and reminds me that we are all meant to share love through our connections. The mortality of my big girl, 'Phoebs' hits me more and more often as she ages, and she begins to slow down. I- of course think of what will help ease the loss of the most monumental being in my world. Myself personally, I require the tangible connections to her. I will need to touch, hold, cry on, embrace, gaze upon- while reminiscing all the good times. This is where 3D crystal carving came in. I see many, beautiful mementos in the form of custom engraved urns, ink prints of paws and nose prints, even fur clippings for families to take home. I love all of those gifts, but I wanted more. I wanted something completely designed for me, and my cherished memories. Once I discovered custom 3D crystal carving, it was a no brainer for me. I HAD to get involved. I know how much it means to have something to keep the memory of your beloved pet in the forefront of your mind, while also adding a classy, and beautiful look to any room, office or tribute area you can create. This custom 3D carving began with a deep need to connect with people who have lost their cherished pets, but will grow beyond any limitations. I will provide clients with custom designs for any occasion. Sentimental or humorous. Weather you're celebrating a win or commemorating a loss. The message of this business is love and connectedness to one another, I hope we can all come a little closer and support one another in our triumphs and our vulnerable losses.
