An Indian street vendor is giving out cotton candy for the same proportion of human hair and he has been doing it for the last four to five years. At first this sounds disgusting and questionable, but don’t make up your mind yet. This street vendor was seen on a YouTube channel called “Food Vishal”, where the video quickly climbed up to 80,000 views, and a viewer even commented “What a great concept”. I was confused just like you are right now! How… what… huh? But when I learnt what he was doing, I agreed with the YouTube comment. The street vendor collects bags of human hair to then sells it to wig makers which makes him Rs 3,000 per kilogram of human hair. In the video posted on the YouTube channel “Food Vishal”, the blogger is heard saying “budiya ke baal”, which is what the nickname for cotton candy is in the Hindi language. In the YouTube video, kids can be seen bringing balls of hair to the street vendor in exchange for the same amount of cotton candy. Some kids mentioned that they would bring hair that would fall of their mothers’ heads to exchange it for some yummy cotton candy.
