Six years ago, during the quiet chaos of Covid, I brought home my very first plant… and completely fell in love 🌿

What started as one turned into a collection of nearly 100. Along the way, I learned (sometimes the hard way) what plants really need to thrive — patience, consistency, and a whole lot of care.

Now, as a stay-at-home mom, Curated Leaf has become something even more meaningful. It’s not just about beautiful plants — it’s about building something for my family, creating a little extra support for us, and raising my son to appreciate and respect all living things (yes, even houseplants 🪴).

Every plant I share is thoughtfully chosen and cared for, and every bit of support means more than you know.

🌿 Monday Plant Talk 🌿

Let’s talk about one of my absolute favorites in my collection right now — my Pothos Pinnatum Albo mother plant.

This beauty is all about that stunning variegation. Each leaf is completely unique, with soft splashes of white and green that feel almost painted on. No two leaves are ever the same, which is part of what makes her so special.

Care-wise, she’s surprisingly easygoing for such a statement plant. Bright, indirect light will help keep that variegation strong and healthy (too little light and you’ll see more green, less white). I let her dry out slightly between waterings and she’s been thriving.

One of the most exciting things about this plant is how it matures. When given something to climb — like a moss pole or trellis — her leaves can begin to fenestrate, developing those beautiful splits and openings similar to a Monstera. It’s such a rewarding transformation to watch over time.

This Hoya pubicalyx ‘Splash’ is off to its new home 🤍

I love this one for its speckled, almost paint-splattered leaves and easygoing trailing growth. It’s one of those plants that looks good all the time — but when it blooms… it really shows off with deep pink, starry flowers that smell amazing.

Such a good one to have in your collection 🌿
