Hey guys! It's been awhile 😝 Let me reintroduce myself, my name is Kayla and I'm a mom to three beautiful girls which is actually how I got into becoming a treat maker. My daughter desperately wanted to try Tangulu, so this momma learned how and practiced until my face turned blue. During the process I realized how much I enjoyed making candy on top of baking.

In the break I've taken from making candied fruit, I've mastered marshmallows and stuffed gourmet cookies. I'm slowly getting back into things again so don't hesitate to message with any questions! ❤️✨️

My kids sure dislike when I restock my cupboard because all they see is a giant bag of all the candies that they love but can't touch 😅 That being said, the grapes are huge and I have some new flavors to add to the list 🤤🤗

Anyone interested in being a taste tester that isn't camera shy? 👀

As you may have noticed, I have disappeared for awhile. After not hearing back from the health unit regarding a kitchen inspection, not being able to find decent fruit, the candy cracking and being scared to market myself out in the meantime I had convinced myself that maybe this just isn't for me.
I have managed to find grapes almost the same size as a tablespoon!! I feel like I have hit the JACKPOT so maybe I'm not completely out of the game 😜

I currently still have ALL my flavors but at the moment toppings are limited until I replenish my cupboards. Don't hesitate to message or comment if you have any questions! 💕

🍭 Things to know 🍭

Fruits such as pineapple, kiwi and watermelon need a minimum of 12-24 hours to properly freeze before dipping (needing extra notice for orders). These fruits as well as grapes need to remain frozen or they will break down within an hour or two.

All candied fruit will eventually break down over time but will last longer in an airtight container in a colder freezer.

Candied fruit such as strawberries, cherries and apples need to stay refrigerated, not frozen; but like all candied fruit it will break down over time so all candied fruit is best consumed in a reasonable time frame.

If picked up right away, orders will not be completely frozen but will be stored in my freezer until picked up.

I have been honest about the fact that making these candies is something I am still trying to perfect as this is new to me. At this point I have managed to "nail" everything except the humidity 😅 Some of my orders end up perfect with no cracking but as of lately within 24 hours they crack; still the same great flavor and crunch but not as aesthetically pleasing 😩

The first picture is my very first attempt. Besides the runny ones, I was quite proud of myself 😅 The second picture is from one of my most recent batches. It has been a labor of love with many trials and errors, but the drive to get it correct is strong! Thank you to those who are willing to still try them as I perfect everything. This will be something great with some more perseverance.

I've also been working on what works for me and what doesn't while working full time and raising children so I have been working on an online storefront that will be posted soon with how to place an order. This will allow me to set my availability for when I'm working or busy/can't find any good product.

The humidity in my house yesterday was my worst enemy against my blue raspberry grapes but the colors look amazing (in my opinion)

🍇🍍1 cake batter in original Starburst with pineapple chunk $10 (container not completely packed)
🍇1 blue raspberry in two kinds of airheads $12 (full container but cracked 🥺)
🍇🍍1 fruit rollup kabobs 2 for $4 or the whole lot with 1 candied pineapple $20

Still something I'm new at so they aren't perfect, but I'm getting there! Hoping to have them perfected by Sunday 😖🤞the kids will love them regardless but I'm being picky (for good reason haha)
