One of our biggest goals for Ladderbob™ was to be able to get it on the shelves at one of Canada’s most well-known hardware store chains, Home Hardware. They are Canadian, independently owned and operated, and have built a trusting relationship with their customers.

We are so happy to announce that you can now get Ladderbob™ at Central Builders Courtenay Home Hardware! Thanks so much to Kris Stewart and his team for believing in our product and putting it on their shelves.

We thought it was time to introduce one of our retailers who actually sells ladders! 🪜

When we were in the early stages of bringing Ladderbob™ to the retail market, we connected with Kevin, the manager of Falcon Ladder & Scaffold. He was immediately supportive and offered great advice on the logistics of getting Ladderbob™ installed at the source, by the ladder manufacturer. It only made sense that once we were ready for the retail market, Falcon Ladder would be one of our retail partners.

🌟🌟 RETAILER SPOTLIGHT 🌟🌟

It’s always heartwarming when entrepreneurs support other entrepreneurs!

Imagine our surprise when, while shopping for some amazing cheese at Natural Pastures Cheese Company for our product launch party, their wonderful GM Anyssa Jane asked about the product we were launching. When we explained what Ladderbob™ was for and why it was invented, she asked, “Can we sell some here at our store?”

Before we had a chance to ask what ladder safety had to do with cheese, she answered the question. “I know this has nothing to do with cheese, but I think it’s a really cool product that will help keep people safe. Also, it is important to support fellow entrepreneurs.” And just like that, Natural Pastures became another of our fabulous Ladderbob™ retailers.

Sometime partnerships start in unexpected ways.

When we were drafting the instructions for Ladderbob™ we knew we needed outside input. A chance meeting in a local hardware store led us to Lia and Brian from Clever Crow Herbs, Spices, and Sea Salt. Not only did they give us great input on our instructions, but they also asked if they could carry Ladderbob™ at their amazing farm store! If you haven’t been there yet it is so worth the trip…they have amazing made in house herb and spice blends and delicious soups and sauces, beautiful seasonal veggies, a bounty of other food products from right here in the Comox Valley and so much more.

We’re grateful to be growing our business here in the Comox Valley!

Teamwork makes the dream work!

A new partnership between Ladderbob™ and L'Arche Comox Valley is proving that innovation and inclusion can go hand in hand. At the heart of this collaboration is L’ArcheWorx Collective, a program based at L’Arche Comox Valley that creates meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Through this partnership, members of L’ArcheWorx are responsible for packaging the Ladderbob™ for retail partners, assembling each unit to ensure all components and instructions are included.

“We enjoy doing the Ladderbob™ packaging,” says L’Arche community member Julia Tait. “We package during different sessions, and we like to challenge ourselves to see how many we can complete each time.”
