Our strawberry trial has reached peak production this week. We are pulling 9 pounds of delicious Albion strawberries from our greenhouse every 3 days. So far our mix of .products Hydrafiber + peat and our coco based substrate are performing the best.

Our strawberry substrate trial is now in full production. Plenty of new flowers forming on thick healthy trusses. So far our hydrafiber substrate is performing the best with the quickest time to flower and the highest total yield. All of these plants are being fed 1.2 EC of plant prod 7-11-27 alternating with 1 EC of calcium nitrate once a week.

Our strawberry trial at Sumas has begun! We are testing three different growing medias against a control. One with .bio inoculation, one is a coco Coir based medium and lastly a media with hydra fiber incorporated. These plants are all Albion variety. We will be monitoring vegetative growth, root growth, number of flowers and fruit yield.

If you are in the area, pop in and have a look. We will also be growing raspberries and blueberries outside the greenhouse.
