Established in 1988, Rubies is conveniently located at 661 Grand Avenue East. What began as a hobby for our founder, Ruby Kennedy, quickly blossomed into a thriving enterprise within a matter of months. In the summer of 1994, we experienced a significant milestone with the acquisition of our first laser engraver—an exciting development for our business. Ruby's daughter, Corrinne, who was home from university at the time, eagerly took on the task of learning to operate this cutting-edge equipment and explored the possibilities it brought to our product lines. Inspired by the creativity and challenges of the awards and engraving industry, Corrinne decided to become a partner in the business that her mother had initiated. Rubies is proud to be a family-owned and operated business, with Ruby's son, Kelsey, joining the company full time in 2008. Ruby passed away in January of 2023 but her legacy lives on with Corrinne and Kelsey. As a family business, we bring a deep sense of dedication, passion, and expertise to every aspect of our operations. We are committed to providing exceptional products and services that exceed your expectations.
