"My plants live for summer. I just enable it.
It’s summer again. And here we are. Me, dragging pots near open windows like a crazy person. The tropicals—they demand it, you know? The fresh air. The slight hint of a breeze. They wouldn't survive an actual Canadian summer outside, ben voyons. So, we compromise. A tiny bit of outdoor adventure, if 'adventure' means 'sitting on the porch for an hour.' Mostly, it's just me creating an indoor humid jungle. My spouse doesn't need to know how many more Hoyas fit.
1. Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Princess' - Trailing variegated beauty, loving the fresh air.
2. Philodendron 'Florida Beauty' x Mayoi Variegated - Lobed leaves, basking in summer's indirect glow.
3. Hoya cumingiana 'Albomarginata' - Compact hoya, thriving on summer's warmth.
4. Hoya Nervosa 'Jokul Silver' - Silver-veined leaves, chilling by the window.
5. Hoya carnosa 'Freckles' - Speckled leaves, secretly planning its next bloom.
How do you give your plants 'outdoor time'?
