Introducing Freda's Favourites - a 12-part series of two-sided mini pillows. A new mini pillow chart will be released on the 15th of each month throughout 2026.

Each mini pillow design has been adapted from little bits and pieces of some of Freda’s earlier charts. There are 12 re-imagined designs adjusted to fit into same border design. All of the pillows have a finished size of 3 ½” square.

The January pillow will be released on January 15.

Lesson learned … different types of canvas can stitch up differently and you need to compensate when using them in the same project! No worries I’m going to add a black square to the top of the side panels and “no one will notice” 🤫 don’t tell anyone!!!

We would like to introduce you to our new house designer, Lisa Kampel. Under the direction of Freda, Lisa is now creating her own counted canvas designs - “Lisa’s Lovelies” - under the Freda’s Fancy Stitching label. Lisa’s designs will be available exclusively on the Freda’s Fancy Stitching website and Etsy shop.

If you recall, Freda sold the Freda’s Fancy Stitching business to Lisa on January 1, 2024, so that she could spend more time with her family and focus on her designing. Lisa is the person behind the scenes of Freda’s Fancy Stitching. She manages the website, Etsy shop, Facebook and Instagram and does all the marketing - and now she's designing too!To learn more about Lisa and Freda, please visit the About page n the website.

Just in time for Christmas 2025, Lisa’s first design, Tinsel Trees, is now available! Two sweet little Christmas tree designs feature Rainbow Gallery Petite Very Velvet thread and partial Rhodes Variation stitches.
