‘Quinspired is a journey in progress producing pieces that reflect Quin's passion for minimal and functional design with a nod to her Asian roots. Her goal is to create work that brings both beauty and a feeling of home. The slow nature of the process forces her to be thoughtful with every lump of clay and in doing so impart the heart and soul of the maker into the final product. Quin's work is available in small batches as each piece is carefully thrown, trimmed, glazed and fired with love.
With each purchase made Quin is committed to giving back to missions close to her heart. In 2006 she travelled to Niger, Africa to help with health clinics, teach about sanitation, and hand out mosquito nets to prevent the spread of disease. So touched by the massive need and work being done by the international workers, Quin remains dedicated to supporting this cause; specifically educating and feeding school kids along with providing vocational training to young women at risk.’
