ShadyK Quilters Annual Shopping and Quiting Bus Trip

Hi everyone. Just popping in with an update on our trip next year. We will be heading to Vermont around this time next year in June. Stay tuned for the dates to be confirmed.
I have one question. As we can reach our destination in one day instead of two, should the trip be shortened by a day. Sunday to Saturday, or Sunday to Sunday.

Update. The bus has been booked for our 2027 trip to Vermont. The dates are June 13th to 20th. Ewen has agreed to be our driver. Planning to contact a hotel in June.

Afternoon everyone. Hope you are all enjoying all this snow.
I thought I would bring you up to date about this year's trip to Shipshewana. I have corresponded with Ewen and Marybeth and we are all in agreement to cancel the trip this year for safety reasons. If anything happened to the group by ICE, both Ewen and I would be responsible and that makes me nervous.
I have just found out that the Vermont Quilt Show is back, starting this year. Check out their FB page
I am thinking of changing our trip next year to Vermont. The dates would be June 13th to June 20th, 2027.
Let me know what you think. I will be sending an email out shortly to everyone who has signed up.

Hope everyone is keeping warm with this weather.

I just want to confirm that the 2026 trip to Shipshewana is still a go. Someone is spreading rumors that it was cancelled.

Hotels and the bus have been booked. The dates are May 31st to June 7th. Complete details will be posted around the beginning of February.

Hi everyone. Hopefully this time next year we will all be busy finishing our shopping lists, purchasing your US monies and finishing your final packing.
The bus departs May 31, 2026, returning June 6, 2026.
The itinerary should be ready in December 2025. 🚍🚍

Essenhaus Inn & Conference Center in Middlebury IN. Rates are better.

I have just spent the day canceling all the reservations for this year's trip and what amazed me was that most of the people had no idea what was going on.
