Happy new year everyone! I just wanted to say thank you for all your love and support last year it does not go unnoticed and is really appreciated ❤️. I hope all of you had a very merry Christmas and were able to spend some time with friends and family this holiday season. Hard to believe we're cruising through January already so quickly! The Brighton & Cramahe Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Brighton and Municipality of Brighton are excited to announce this year's Shop Local initiative - Buy It In Brighton Holiday Shopping Passports!

JOIN US FOR OUR KICK-OFF EVENT🎉

📅 Saturday, November 19th from 1pm to 3pm

📍 Memorial Park & Downtown Brighton



☕ complimentary hot chocolate from Lola's Cafe and hot apple cider from The Tin Roof Ice Creamery,

🌲 a tree ornament decorating station where you can help us decorate our 'Joy' tree,

🛍️ shopping at Downtown Brighton businesses,

🎵 holiday rock and roll tunes from DownBeat and,

🎤 community caroling!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE 🤔

Buy it in Brighton will run from November 19th to December 24th. To enter into the contest, you must collet AT LEAST 4 signatures on your Shopping Passport from Brighton business owners in the following categories:

🥡 FOOD & DRINK - i.e., gift cards to restaurants, packaged foods, takeout, dine in, etc.

💅 PERSONAL CARE - i.e., massage therapy, aesthetics, chiropractic services, hair, etc.

🏢 INDUSTRIAL PARK BUSINESS - i.e., any business located within the Loyalist Drive Business Park

🛍️ MAIN STREET - i.e., any business with a Main Street address

🏬 DOWNTOWN CORE - i.e., any business within the DBIA

🛒 OUTSIDE THE DOWNTOWN CORE

🖱️ HOMEBASED OR ONLINE - i.e., any online business based in Brighton

Only one signature can be used for each category.



Passports are available for pickup at:

📍 Municipality of Brighton

📍 Brighton Public Library

📍 Brighton & Cramahe Chamber of Commerce

PRIZES TO BE WON 🙌

Participants who submit completed passports will be entered into a draw to receive a GRAND PRIZE valued at $1000. Stay tuned to our social media for more details!



CONTEST DETAILS ✍️

Businesses can only be used in one category. Minimum purchase of $20.00 is required to receive a signature. Completed passports can be dropped off at the Municipality of Brighton, Brighton Public Library or the Brighton & Cramahe Chamber of Commerce.
