The 26th Annual Sitansisk Powwow - CHANGE IN VENUE to Willie O'Ree Place
June 19th to 21st!
We are so honored to welcome our Head Dancers, Aiyana and Jaycen Burnstick, along with an incredible lineup of dancers and drum groups from across the Turtle Island.
Come out to the Old Reserve for a weekend of tradition, healing, and community. With over 75 artisans, info booths, and delicious food vendors, there is something for everyone!

✨ A Very Special Prom Creation ✨💙

Tonight’s beadwork comes straight from a mother’s heart.

When Denver told me she had been asked to prom by a friend, I wanted to create something just for her, something that would complement her beautiful royal blue gown and sparkle as brightly as she does.

These custom beaded earrings feature silver, white, and vibrant sapphire blue accents, carefully chosen to match her dress and bring out every bit of shine in the bodice. The sugar skull centerpiece adds a touch of personality, because anyone who knows Denver knows she has never been afraid to be uniquely herself.

As a bead artist, creating pieces for customers is always special. Creating something for your own child hits a little differently. Every bead was stitched with love, pride, and excitement for the young person she is becoming.

I had the honour of creating this beautiful custom set for a young lady attending her prom tomorrow evening. 💜🖤🤍

Her vision was purple, black, and cream, and I absolutely loved bringing it to life through beadwork. Every stitch, bead, and detail was carefully chosen to create a piece that is both elegant and unique; just like the young woman who will be wearing it.

There is something special about creating pieces for milestone moments. Knowing that my beadwork gets to be part of memories that will last a lifetime is one of the greatest gifts of this craft.

Today is the day.

I’m finally tackling my bead room.

Since moving, I’ve been feeling all over the place trying to figure out where everything belongs. Downsizing is no joke… and neither is trying to run a business out of boxes 😅

But we found the perfect little space in our home, something that feels right, feels calm… feels like mine.

So today, I’m unpacking more than just supplies.
I’m unpacking creativity.
I’m unpacking purpose.
I’m unpacking a piece of myself that’s been sitting in storage.
