WELCOME TO THE JOURNEY OF CHOCOLATE (and a scrappy new company looking to make waves in the craft chocolate scene)!

A lot has gone on in the past year, if you have been following my instagram (), and it has finally made it past the finish line of the startup phase!

I have received my commercial facility permit from AHS, building permit from the City of Airdrie and am now official after over a year of building, from incorporation to now! It's time to goooooo!

In the last year, Cacaoworks was borne and here is the years summary to date!

1. Incorporated the Business

2. Traveled to Belize, NW Chocolate Festival and other key locations to define what Cacaoworks is to be

3. Built the Marketing foundation of logo, branding, packaging, etc.

4. Started construction of a dedicated (residential-based)
production facility from virgin ground.

5. Developed over 14 different chocolate recipes to start the company down its journey to establish a presence in Alberta as a specialty, infusion, bean-to-bar chocolate company including signature, one-of-a-kind bars like Saskatoon Berry Pie and Black Garlic Chocolate.

6. Attended the Airdrie Home and Lifestyle Show and the 1st annual Edmonton ChocoFest, which were resounding successes, experiencing lineups and massive supportive feedback on my product!

7. Introduced product to the public via online store

8. Landed retail displays in (Shop)Makers locations in Market Mall and West Edmonton Mall.

9. Gangbuster release in Airdrie at the unique third-wave Ground Press Coffee and Books beating bars sold from major Calgary malls!

7. Completed Building construction (over a year later!) and received city Building Permit

8. Received AHS Commercial Kitchen Permit approval

9. Registered for many new public markets including, to showcase my new bars, including but not limited to:

* The Barn Artisan Market (Shawnessy)
* The Airdrie Farmers Market (Airdrie) (Pending)
* The Inglewood Night Market
* The Banff Christmas Market (Banff) (Pending)
