Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha is a non-profit organization with a focus on nurturing young minds from underprivileged communities at Hashimukh School in Central Road, Dhanmondi. It is providing basic education, health and hygiene, nutritious meals, IT training, emergency response relief, capacity building, and career development. One of our significant projects is Extra-Curricular Activities (
ECA), which is an integral part of a well-rounded education. ECA provides students with the opportunity to apply one’s academic and extraordinary creative skills in real-world contexts. These activities also instill essential values such as teamwork, responsibility, leadership, physical fitness, competition, diversity, and a sense of culture and community. Hashimukh conducts ECA classes where the students are engaged in various activities based on their interests, including crafting, painting, recycling, sewing, block printing, cooking, baking, and pottery. Gender stereotypes are widespread in our culture, driven by long-standing biases that affect both boys and girls. At Hashimukh, we encourage male students to participate in activities like crafting, painting, and recycling to challenge these stereotypes. This helps them respect their female classmates and be more supportive at home. On this page, handcrafted products made by these disadvantaged students will be available. We offer a delightful collection of handpainted and handcrafted accessories, exquisite home decor, and eco-friendly recycled products for your daily use. Every purchase contributes directly to the growth and development of talented students from underprivileged communities at Hashimukh School. Our goal is to assist students from Paribagh, Bangla Motor, and Bhuter Goli who are disadvantaged, aiding them to grow as professionals in the future. This page is a platform for the various types of student creativity fostered at Hashimukh, which signifies an essential phase in our student's overall growth.
