It's BACK for 2026! Our popular Winter Trout Comp enters its fourth year running at the Tackle Shack - with over $1,100 in prizes up for grabs! You've got three ways to enter, with entries open all through June and July.

Biggest trout: The biggest local trout photographed on a measuring sticker or mat and submitted in this period will take the prize. A spool of leader must be visible as proof.

Best photo: Send in your best photo of a local trout to our email or socials; our three favourites will then have a winner voted by the public. Doesn’t have to be a big fish to count here!

Purchases over $50: Any trout-related or Pure Fishing purchase over $50 in-store earns one entry per $50 spent, with entrants in the other two draws automatically included.
