Its no secret that since leaving the Army i have struggled, when you first enlist they spend months training you how to stop being a civilian and start being a Soldier, but when you leave, you're on your own.

Readjusting to life outside the Military is something a lot of veterans struggle with, some more than others. You'd be hard pressed to find a veteran that hasn't lost good mates, some overseas on operations, some in training accidents, others that lost the fight with their own demons and took their own lives.

Its ANZAC Day today, and once again my own demons have prevented me from attending my local services, I did however sit down yesterday and come up with this piece as my own way of paying respects to those that have fallen and those that still serve.

When is a Mini kit, not a mini kit?
When its 3D printed at over 500%...

Normally a building brick set with less than 100 parts would come in a poly-bag or very small box, but this one needs a tray thats over half a meter long.

This Super-Star Destroyer may not have many parts, but it took over 6 days to print and used just over 4 spools of Matte, Silk and Translucent filament from Siddament and looks fantastic.

Well, it was a huge day at the Wallan Scout Market today, low temperatures and constant threat of rain didn't deter the crowds.
I've got half a page full of 3D printed things to replace and a list almost the same size for the lasers.

For now though, as has become my standard practice, I'm having the afternoon and tomorrow off and will get back to it next week.

It's been a nerve racking few weeks here, in late January I put out a post to members of my old Corps to see if anyone would like tumblers in the Corps colours with the Corps emblem engraved.
There was huge interest, so i placed an order and then waited...

What arrived was appalling, the colours were washed out, they were spray painted and just completely unusable.

I quickly found another supplier that not only offered to match the exact colours, but they also UV Printed the cups which gave a clean finish and crisp lines between the three colours.

The sample arrived today and I got it straight in to the xTool P2S for engraving. The results are amazing. Needless to say, I have just confirmed the order with this new supplier and can't wait to get these cups done.

xTool recently had a design competition to come up with something that had an Australian Easter theme.

I came up with this egg shaped basket complete with a "living hinge" for the base, it then had a Bilby engraved on Blackwood laid on the side with 3 eggs engraved and cut from Acrylic.

Unfortunately, thats as far as I got, whilst I do love the design I've come up with, I chickened out before entering it in the contest.

The wood components were done on the S1 and P2S whilst the acrylic was all on the P2S.

Having a bit of fun experimenting with new surfaces and techniques, and well, apparently we can custom engrave leather balls too. This one was done on the xTool F2 Ultra UV, but with a few more experiments could also be done on our other machines too.

Last year I approached my good friends at Auslowe Model Truck Accessories after the 2025 Philip Island Plastic Model Show and asked if we could work together to do some category trophies for this years show.
I proposed a design of a tumbler (after seeing images from the previous shows trophy cups) that on the front would feature the individual category, a custom logo for the show that I had designed and on the rear would have a list of the major sponsors.

Well, the 2026 Philip Island Plastic Model Show wrapped up last weekend and I'm happy to show some of the category winners here. Well done to all those who won, if you see this post, please share a photo of your winning model with the cup you recieved too, I'd love to see them.

Hello to all, I would like to extend a massive welcome to all of our new followers, there has been around 100 new followers on this page in the last week and I couldn't be happier.

Everything you see on this page (except for samples that include photos of my family) is for sale, and that's not even half of what we have to offer.

We are slowly chipping away at getting a website up & running, fingers crossed this should be launching mid year, this will showcase all our work, as well as have options for you to pick & choose tumbler sizes, colours and designs, and of course the option to place custom orders.

That does however, bring me to something I would like to address, due to an increasing number of people enquiring about things and asking for us to make specific items, then "ghosting us", there will now be a strict pre-payment requirement.
If the order is custom (your logos, photos etc) there will be a non-refundable 50% deposit required prior to any work being conducted.
For other orders (where i may still be able to sell the items if you cancel) and the order is under $100, it will be a 100% deposit, for orders over $100 it will be a 50% deposit with balance payable at the time of delivery.

We are only a small business and can not continue to make things on 'good faith', sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.
