Since becoming a doTERRA Wellness Advocate and starting The Essential Guide, I have also started on the journey of educating myself on low tox living and reducing chemicals and nasties in our home. It is a joy and privilege to now share this information with others. Why start The Essential Guide? A friend gave me some samples of doTERRA oils and I have to admit, they rolled around in the bottom of my handbag for some time with not much use. Every now and then I’d encounter a situation and I’d think “I’m sure one of those oils would be good for that”. But I wasn’t really educated on using them and it all seemed too hard. When a family member invited me to join a sample event which included daily education on the oils, I thought, why not? As I started to learn more, I realised the potential these oils could have in changing my life and I started to become hungry for more information. So, I enrolled as a Wellness Advocate and purchased The Family Essentials kit containing the top 10 doTERRA oils. Of course, once I started using them, I was hooked. But I have to admit, it was a huge learning curve, and it wasn’t easy. Enter: the idea for The Essential Guide. Google is great – you have so much information at your fingertips. But, it was overwhelming and finding a trusted source was nigh on impossible. I couldn’t find everything I needed to know in one place and I felt like I was spending more time researching how to use the oils rather than actually using them! BUT, I persevered, I took notes, and I bookmarked. I experimented with my own recipes and blends. And now, as The Essential Guide, I am sharing them with you! What do I hope to get out of establishing The Essential Guide? One of my driving forces for welcoming doTERRA oils and products into my life was because I wanted a low tox life. I’d suffered Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in my younger years, and hormone and fertility issues throughout my life. As I started educating myself, I realised that there were simple changes I could make that would benefit me and my family. I now make all of my cleaning products, and I’ve been able to trade many instances where I would turn to synthetic medications and use an oil alternative instead. Best of all, I know that I’m raising my daughter in a healthier home. It is my hope that by establishing The Essential Guide, I can help more people and families start using oils by demystifying and simplifying how it’s done.

📢October workshop dates have been released!
At this stage, I'm only holding workshops at Eco Soul Collective in Mt Evelyn. As it is an intimate space, only 8 places are available for each workshop, so please book in ASAP if you would like to attend.
