Rhipsalis puniceodiscus 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

A cascading epiphytic rainforest cactus native to southeast and south Brazil. It features slender, flexible, hanging green stems and is one of the few Rhipsalis species known to produce striking orange or pumpkin-colored berries after blooming.

THRIVES IN …

🌞 Bright, indirect light, protect from harsh direct sun which can scorch or purple the stems.

💦 Keep soil evenly moist during active growth, allowing it to dry slightly between waterings. In cooler weather let dry completely between waters.

🪴 Loves Chunky, fast-draining epiphytic soil mix combining fine orchid bark, perlite.

WATER WATER WATER 🚿 🚿 🚿

I little bit of work in the beginning when planting your Bamboo will pay off in the long run! Trust us!
Initial daily watering is beneficial for the Bamboo growth and while the roots adjust to their new environment and soil conditions.
If you are considering planting in pots you must check the soil daily, if the soil drys out your bamboo will not survive. Keeping soil moist in planters is best.
Setting up a drip system or irrigation is ideal for a garden bed so you don’t have to lift a finger! Seasol and Powerfeed are recommended for during the growing season to keep your Bamboo green and lush while promoting steady growth.

And don’t forget to water regularly!!!

🌿 Want lush, healthy bamboo? Here’s the secret...

💧 When planting: Soak the root ball in a Seasol solution, then use the same mix to water it in. This helps encourage strong, healthy root development.

🌱 Every 2–4 weeks: Give the leaves and soil a spray with Seasol to keep your bamboo looking vibrant and help it handle heat, wind and other stresses.

🌾 Don’t forget fertiliser! Seasol is a plant tonic, not a fertiliser. Feed your bamboo with a high-nitrogen fertiliser every 2–3 months from spring through autumn for fast growth and rich green foliage.

A little care goes a long way towards creating a thick, healthy bamboo screen! 🌿
