Insulation is one of the first corners manufacturers cut when saving costs. We offer complete installation of full coverage acoustic and thermal insulation installation on all vehicles using top of the line materials from Standartplast.

Foil-backed Butyl Sheets and Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) bind to body panels, reducing their weight and in turn lowering their resonant frequency, eliminating the 'ping' noise that can be heard when tapped. Application of this stage to doors, cabin floor, boot space, wheel wells, bonnet, and roof will significantly reduce the noise floor entering your vehicles cabin. This alone can reduce certain frequencies by up to 10dB in volume.

In wet areas like inner door cavities, ruptured cell foam acts as a thermal insulation layer and also decouples contacting surfaces to reduce rattles and vibrations. This is generally applied directly on top of the Butyl Sheets or MLV layer.

A final layer of open cell foam inside the cabin and dry areas like behind door cards absorb standing waves and other obnoxious sounds that like to bounce around inside these pockets of space. It also acts as an additional layer of insulation.
